Who,Me?
It’s not an easy thing to write on myself, no?
My name is Ismail Aksoy and I’m an self-taught photographer living in Canakkale, Turkey. I’m working as an ocean going deck officer for a vessel management company called ” V.Ships Ship Management”.
I picked up photography when i was a child with a “Zenith” camera which is older then me. I had several cameras like, Minolta XG-1, Sony alpha 100, Sony Alpha 350. Now i have a Canon Eos 1Ds Mark III and 50D. After learning the language of the photography, now I’ve been posting my favorite pics from my travels on my personal web site Calmcolors.org. It’s a work in progress and I know that I have a lot to learn. Thankfully it’s something I can do for the rest of my life.
I read a lot. That’s why i learned web design and programming by myself. I’m not doing this for profit. It’s just for fun.
