It’s not an easy thing to write on myself, no?
My name is Ismail Aksoy and I’m an self-taught photographer living in Canakkale, Turkey. I’m working as an ocean going deck officer for a tanker operator company called ” Chemmariner Shipping LTD”.
I picked up photography when i was a child with a “Zenith” camera which is older then me. I had several cameras like, Minolta XG-1, Sony alpha 100. Now i have a Sony Alpha 350. After learning the language of the photography, now I’ve been posting my favorite pics from my travels on my personal web site Calmcolors.org. It’s a work in progress and I know that I have a lot to learn. Thankfully it’s something I can do for the rest of my life.
I read a lot. That’s why i learned web design and programming by myself. I’m not doing this for profit. It’s just for fun.
